I birded Glenn Hilton Park in Hickory early this afternoon and had some good
migrant flocks. I had 28 species which isn't bad for 12:45pm to 2:45pm.
Highlights were:
Great Egret 1
Red-eyed Vireo 4
Black-and-white Warbler 1
Magnolia Warbler 4
Common Yellowthroat 3
American Redstart 4
Canada Warbler 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 5
Northern Parula 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 1
Empidondax Flycatcher 2
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 1
Yellow-billed Cuckoo 1
