House Finch Disease

I just responded to Brian Pendergraft's email regarding House Finch's. I
realized that others might now know of the work that Cornell is doing in
regards to this disease. Here is a link to Cornell's site
http://birds.cornell.edu/ scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see
a link for House Finch Disease Survey. This will explain all about the work
they are doing regarding this disease along with some wonderful information
about the disease itself.
Here is a suggestion from the site on who to report diseased birds to:

Who else should I report diseased birds to?

Contact your state fish and nongame wildlife office and ask to speak to the
person who manages wildlife health issues. If you do not know who to report
to in your state, call the Lab of Ornithology (607-254-2446) and we can
provide you with a contact.

They also give wonderful information on bird feeder guidelines.
