Title: Visit to Asheville
Carolinabirders,
I'm a wildlife biologist specializing in birds, will be visiting the Asheville area October 2-6 and would like some ideas of places to bird. I'm not looking for a birding spot for rare birds, but rather for your local ones (since I'm not very familiar with your avian species other than what I have learned through subscribing to your list for 3 months). I am also an experienced and active bander and if anyone knows of a banding station where I could pitch in and help during those days I would love to participate.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
