The cold front brought new numbers but no new species yesterday AM.
10 Pied-billed Grebe
6 Coots
1 Philadelphia Vireo
6 Rose Breasted Grosebeak
2 Chestnut Sided Warbler
3 Redstart
1 Coopers Hawk (passing through)
1 RS Hawk
1 E. Phoebe
plus the usual residents & semi residents
On Monday I also saw 1 Common Yellowthoat
At the NC Arboretum last weekend we saw 2 Ovenbirds - the first we
have seen for a while
Don't forget the bird walk at Beaver Lake Sanctuary at 9:00 Saturday
(tomorrow), led by Simon Thompson.
