Several birders were at the Old Coast Guard Station at Oregon Inlet and
Roanoke Island (north end) today 10/2/99 and had a good number of warblers.
The best was a Connecticut Warbler at the Coast Guard Station. Other birds
seen between the two places were:
Magnolia Warbler
Northern Parula
Palm Warbler
Black-throated Blue
Hooded Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Cape May
Northern Waterthrush
Prairie Warbler
Pine Warbler
American Redstart
Common Yellowthroat
Yellow-breasted Chat
and
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Brown Creeper
Peregrine Falcons (2)
