Postdoctoral Associate needed to head a continuing long-term project at the
Savannah River Station, near Aiken, SC. The project focuses on production and
consumption of fruit and hard mast. Monthly duties include fruit removal
studies and bird and fruit/acorn censuses. Also, we expect the successful
candidate to develop a project related to the general theme of our study. We
hope to find somebody adept at both bird and plant identification but of
these two skills, bird identification is far more important to us. A full-
time technician and two pickup trucks are provided. 1 year appointment with
reappointment for an additional year expected.
