Hi guys. I am a regular lurker of your listserve. I live north of
Roxboro, NC and Sherri and I are beginning our third year of Feeder
Watch in a new location this weekend..
Here's the count.
Eastern Towhee 2
Northern Cardinal 5
Chickadee 4--This year they only list Carolina on the official list!
Red Bellied Woodpecker 1
Rufus Towhee 1--others in hearing but only one visual
Gold Finches 10
Eastern Blue Bird 2
House Finch 10
Dark Eyed Junco 6
Mourning Dove 5
Field Sparrow 1
White Throated Sparrow 2
Phobe 2 --Saw them all weekend...
W Breasted Nuthatch 1
Yellow Breasted Sapsucker,,Immature 2
Yellow Rump Warbler 2--lots more in the woods.
Hermit Thrush 1
Pine Warbler 1--also, more in the woods.
Blue Jay 1
Saw several other vultures, hawks, crows, ducks, and geese, but they
didn't land in the yard..
Great weekend to sit and loaf.
