Rusty Blackbird in N. Durham, Co

This morning Janet and I too our usual walk around the "backyard.

It was a very birdy morning. The highlights of which were a Female Rusty
blackbird, and wild turkey.

Song sparrows were in unusually high numbers (about a dozen). We often
see but 1 or 2.

Yesterday a great blue heron flew by.

Not bad for backyard highlights.

We also saw 3 otter cavorting (actually fishing) on the Little River.
