West Lake Pond (West Lake Rd. off 1010 Rd)- The big winner today. 455

This count beats my previous high count for this location by about 70
birds.

Gadwall, Mallards, Canada Geese
1010 pond (intersection of Lake Wheeler Rd. and 1010 Rd.)- 3 lonely
Ring-Necked Ducks and a Pied Billed Grebe
Lake Wheeler- 3 Bufflehead, 5 Ruddy Ducks, 2 Pied Billed Grebes
NCSU Pond (Lake Wheeler Rd. at the NCSU Dairy Unit)- 82 ducks; 23 each of
Northern Shoveler, Ring-Necked, and Bufflehead. 13 Lesser Scaup.
Have a great holiday weekend!
