Northern Cumberland County

This morning, despite the damp and chill, a friend and I walked his ponds
and woods looking for birds. We saw a dozen species that I was able to
identify, heard several more that we didn't see, and had glimpses of some
that we couldn't id. The best birds were the following:

ring-necked ducks: 12
brown creeper: 1 seen twice or 2 individuals
hermit thrush: 1, possibly 2
