I saw another bald eagle on the gravel pit pond in ne orange co on 1/8. its
head and tail were mostly white. the pond's population seems to be way down.
As I reflect, no coots, could the eagle be getting them as they are not too
great at getting airborne. Also, the pond has the carcass of a deer. Does
anyone know how this will affect the ducks?
In addition to the eagle, a red tailed hawk was riding the thermals above
the eagle. a nice sight.
