Well, it's about 3 p.m. and it has finally quit showing in Hampstead. We
have about 6 inches now. But it has warmed up somewhat. And Blondie is
doing great. Guess she is used to snow!! She really looks brown with all
that snow out there. We have been kept busy with the feeders and what works
best is to keep three feeders going and to change them out as necessary,
having two out all the time. We also have a light on the back feeder when
the temp gets below 28 degrees. Blondie really seemed to like the warmth,
but I try not to use the light any more than necessary. My husband filled
all the seed feeders today and cleaned the snow off the deck so we could
throw out seed for the ground feeders. I also saw a different hummer at the
back feeder this a.m. Guess it was just visiting.
Hal, close that door before you catch cold!!
