Good Birds at Townville, SC

I took some high school birders to Townville yesterday (in the cold rain) and
helped them find 66 species. The best are below:

Dunlin -- with Greater Yellowlegs on the first pond on the Dobbins Farm.

Peregrine Falcon -- perched in the lone tree in the pasture to the left of
the second pond.

Surf Scoter -- female; on Lake Hartwell at the Townville Access.

Black Scoter -- female; swimming with the Surf Scoter.

Wild Turkey -- a flock of 58! in the creekbottom field on the south end of
Fred Dobbins Road.
