Hello all, I am posting this message to recruit participants and leaders
for the upcoming CBC in McClellanville, SC this coming Saturday, the 16th
of December. In recent years we have gained access and learned of many
new areas to count within the circle, but we have not been able to
recruit additional leaders and participants. Historically, the
McClellanville CBC has been one of the most productive CBC counts in SC
averaging over 170 species in one day. Every habitat in the lowcountry
of SC is in the area, ranging from red-cockaded woodpecker habitat to the
salt marsh. We are particularly looking for expertise and leadership for
a vast area that may harbor many wintering sparrows, and possibly
longspurs, and others to lead trips to portions of the count circle. If
