RE: Nuthatch and Creeper Play Deadly Game of Chicken

Reply to Reece Mitchell's posting on creephatches (creeper/nuthatch hybrids)

Creephatches are extremely unstable and usually decay into electrons within
a few nanoseconds of being formed. In an ill-fated attempt to form a stable
creephatch, the Russian's collided a Siberian Pygmy Nuthatch with a Common
Tree Creeper in Tunguska in June of 1908. The resulting explosion leveled
2150 square kilometers of Siberian forest. Do NOT try this in your
backyard!
