C'Birders:
Third straight day without Toast. Wonder if anyone has seen.
Mr. Tea is faithful and the hummer hosts are back in town.
But they don't know that the maybe Ruby-throated is spending more time at my
house. I'll break the news tomorrow.
The Orange-crowned warbler has made its 4th day gleaning from the leaves of
my biggest live oak. I am amazed at its repeated visits or is it a
different one each time? Only twice were the visits on consecutive days, as
far as I know.
The Green-winged teal and the Shovelers are affording great looks as they
spend a lot of time near the dock. Have never done it before. Usually see
them in the middle of the lake.
