This morning before work I did the Alligator thing, looking for sparrows,
etc. Found 2 (or 3) more Lincoln's at 1.5 miles down Milltail Creek Road!
They were difficult to count among all the swamps, etc. but I did have 2 in
my field of view at once! Also, in the same location had a White-crowned
Sparrow, the first one I've seen out there this winter! Still no LeConte's,
though.
Also, lots of raptors this morning including 2 adult Bald Eagles and 2
adult Cooper's Hawks. I watched one (Cooper's) take a large rodent (rat of
some sort).
