Morning all,
Summer before last I had a problem with Mourning Doves that I kept finding
that were ill or already dead. Someone had written me about a disease that
sounded a lot like the symptums that they seem to have, opening and closing
off mouth, didn't look like they could swallow their food, would get so weak
they had problems with flying, lost a good bit of feathers. Can anyone
re-tell me what that was, and does it only affect the dove family or could
it affect other birds such as cardinals. A lady in my area wrote me about a
cardinal she had that sounds like the same thing, it is already dead and she
buried it. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
Also, isn't there a web site that list rehabilitators in different areas, or
on who to contact? Seems I have seen something of that nature posted and
can not remember where I filed it. Again, any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank You.
