Fw: Scissor Tail Flycatcher seen in S.C.

Hi C-Birders,

I just got this message from Steve Dennis. Apparently there are more
scissortails out there, so keep alert.

We got very good looks at the birds near Monroe, but then the Hodges saw one
in Elgin.
We also got American Redstarts at Landsford Canal. Do they nest there?

Dear Steve,

We had a great time today, thank you. Guess what? Coming home we saw a
Scissor Tail Flycatcher in a field about six miles
from our home. The location was on the corner of Smyrna Road and Bedford
Road in Elgin, South Carolina. The
bird was by a field. We would be happy to show you the spot where we saw the
bird. Wow, two different sightings in
one day.
