The Biology Department at UNC-Asheville has a salvage permit and also is in
need of salvaged birds for use in ornithology classes. For those in the
area, we would appreciate any specimens that can be added to our teaching
collection. Ideally, these should be frozen immediately (zip-lock bags
work well for small birds). The Biology Office is located in Robinson
Hall. Jim Petranka 828.232.5153
