Clemson Eurasion collared dove

Greetings,
Today we ( myself and a graduate student Laura Zebehazy) observed a
Eurasion collared dove on the campus of Clemson University at about
5:15pm. The bird was apparently feasting on crushed pecans in the
parking lot next to Lehostsky Hall. Another graduate student (Austin
Jenkins) was reported to have seen 2 Eurasian collared doves in the same
vicinity a couple of weeks ago. Eurasion collared doves were also
reported on our CBC in December from the birding mecca of Townville,SC
(approximately 15 miles SSW of the campus). The invasion continues!
