Hi Birders !!! This AM I birded while Barb rested in the car. Beaver Dam
Creek WMA, near townville, SC, was very quiet with one Chat calling, one
Red-eyed Vireo, and something I could not ever see. Dobbins Cattle Farm had
2 American Pipit in the muck at the feed trough, and the fewest singing
Grasshopper Sparrow we can remember, which bothers us. Also one Indigo
Bunting, a pair of peep sandpiper sp. at the pond, a few Barn and Tree
Swallows, and not a lot more. At the 'Lake House' on Lake Hartwell, the
Great Crested Flycatchers had returned, and a Green Heron flew over 6 lanes
of traffic on I-85.
