Hi all,
Today in Sumter, SC Smitty Mallard has a yellow breasted chat feeding on her
cornbread she bakes for the birds year round. I ran by and had a nice look
of this lovely creature. Smitty has a magical yard for birds. She has dozens
of b.orioles each winter, one western tanager ( she has had 3 in separate
years in the past); and one winter had 3 hummingbirds. (this was before we
had professionals to identify them.) One cold January she had a Cape May
Warbler which was seen for over a week. Definitely a magical yard; right?
