Re: Mantises and Hummers



At the risk of sounding heartless, kill the Chinese Mantis (Tenodera 
aridifolia sinensis).  These were introduced in a misguided attempt at 
biological control (and are still available for sale!), as were the 
many species of exotic ladybugs (Coleoptera:Coccinellidae) that are 
decimating the populations of our native species of ladybugs.
