Hi Carolinabirders,
Yesterday, September 16 I birded (and did some butterfly watching) at
the Conway Sewage Ponds, Conway, Horry County, SC-18 species one
somewhat taugh shorebird.
Great Egret-1
Snowy Egret-12
Blue-winged Teal-4
Red-shouldered Hawk-2 the local pair?
Killdeer-11
Solitary Sandpiper-1 or 2
Spotted Sandpiper-2
Semipalmated Sandpiper-2
Least Sandpiper-6
Pectoral Sandpiper-1
Stilt Sandpiper-1
Red-headed Woodpecker-2
Red-bellied Woodpecker-1
Blue Jay-2
Carolina Chickadee-1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher-1 heard only
N. Mockingbird-1
N. Cardinal-1
