Tom and Janet have been seeing good numbers of thrushes on their morning bird walks in Bahama (its not as far as you think), including Grey-cheeked thrush. Since I needed this bird, I finagled an invitation to join the morning ritual. Tom managed to deliver the Grey-cheeked thrush within minutes of my arrival, as well as Swainson's thrush. Other birds of interest seen in the vicinity:
-Good numbers of woodpeckers (about 5 species including a pair of Pileateds).
-A few hawks, including Red-shouldered (voice), Kestrel (along road near their property), Coopers/Sharp-shinned (one vote for each on this bird)
-Flycatchers: empidid sp. , phoebes
-Warblers: Black-throated blue (female), Pine, Palm, Chestnut-sided
-Scarlet tanager
-Rosebreasted Grosbeak
-Flock of Cedar waxwings
-Yellow-billed cuckoo
