Good morning,
The Operation Migration folks are again enroute to Florida from Wisconsin with
this year's flock of 16 Whooping Cranes. Birds from the last two years all
returned north last spring on their own with several being sighted in Hiawassee
NWR in Tennessee - sure wish a couple would ease on over to NC on the return
trip. In the meantime you can read about their past adventures and the current
daily migration updates at the following website:
http://www.operationmigration.org/Field_Journal.html
Sure brightens up my day to read about their adventures.
Good birding,
Lena
