1. Ships moving through the Panama Canal toward the Atlantic:

 
      August 15th                Four U. S. submarines (number------)
        "    16th                Two    "   freighters
        "    17th                One    "       "
                                 One  -----     "
 
2. Moving toward Pacific:
 
      August 15th                One U. S. freighter
                                 One DeGaullist Government destroyer
                                    (Triumphant) (now anchored at
                                    Balboa)
 
3.    August 17th                One U. S. destroyer anchored at Balboa
                                 One warship which appeared to be a
                                 cruiser was seen to arrive. 

 

Recently five large-size destroyers have been in port (taking on fuel, rations and other supplies).
