1. It has been ascertained
that the ship of my #757*, paragraph 2, was a British transport, the AWATEA
which entered port at the same time under convoy, (12000 or 13000 tons, 700 or
800 soldiers on board). Both ships sailed again on the evening of the 14th,
destination unknown.
2. On the afternoon of the
14th, 4 destroyers, 11 submarines, 1 minelayer, entered port.
