Japan March '07 Trip Info ------------------------- *** Madoka *** Address ------- 5-13-33 DaiichiHinodesou 201 Kyounanchou Musashinoshi Tokyo 180-0023 Madoka Cell: 080-6548-8907 Eric Cell: 080-6548-8938 Our place, Musashisakai, is about 40min away from Tokyo on train, 2 stations away from Kichijoji where Ghible museum is. If you don't plan to activate the rail pass right away, you could get to Kichijojoi on Limousine busĦĦ(3000 yen, about 30 USD) then we could get cab from there (or ride train, if you don't have much stuff with you) Limo (Shuttle) Bus from Narita to Madoka ---------------------------------------- http://www.narita-airport.jp/en/access/bus/index.html Limo bus runs straight from the Airport, and you can purchase the ticket at the counter outside of the gate. It should say "Limousine Bus" and I think it would be orange colored. Should be fairly easy to find. The bus stop would be just outside the airport, and the above site tells you where. Only problem with Limo bus is, that it's departure time is bit limited. After 17:30, 18:30, it skips to 20:30. http://www.limousinebus.co.jp/timetable/narita/kichijojist.html In general, we have managed to get to the 18:30 one, from 5:30ish flights. Train from Narita to Madoka --------------------------- Take Chuo-sen (Orange line) from Tokyo, Platform 1 and 2 above ground. (There are platform 1 and 2 underground too, be careful) It only runs one direction from Tokyo, toward Shinjuku, Takao, and Hachioji. Get off at Kichijoji station, takes about 30-40min from Tokyo, few stations after Shinjuku. You can ride "Rapid" but "Special Rapid" will skip Kichijoji, so be careful. *** Emily Goehring *** "She's actually in Haibara, Nara, which is on the Kintetsu line. The closest JR station is Sakurai, and it's about 10 minutes (and 290 yen) from there." Emily cell: 080-5365-2068
