Re: search engine switcheroo



Yep, netscape will do a sort of auto-resolve of any word you type in that
line to www.anyword.com. It's a nice shortcut. You're right, though, it
won't resolve anything more than one word (like altavista.digital for
example.) I wonder if it's something wrong with that feature that pulls up
webdirectory instead of altavista technologies. It's weird because while
I'm watching the location line, "www.altavista.com" flashes there once,
and then "www.webdirectory.com" appears and the webdirectory page is
loaded. I still suspect alias conspiracy and intrigue!
