ibiblio has two main production database servers, both obtained via SUR Grant assistance:

- approx. 390 active databases, including Groklaw and parts of Gutenberg
- IBM eServer 326m (dual dual-core Opterons @ 2.6 GHz)
- DNS name: mysql2.ibiblio.org
- runs RHEL4 x86_64 with MySQL 4.0.27 (x86_64)
- approx. 280 active databases, including all of docsouth
