This directory contains the sourcefiles required to recreate the two
provided  toplevels:  plwin.exe  (window-based  console)  and  plcon.exe
(standard I/O based version).

Which version do I need?
========================

Normally, you'd want to embed Prolog to create a modified console
application or to link it into a GUI application written in C. In both
cases, you just need the skeleton from the CONSOLE directory.

B.t.w. if you want GUI, you may also want to consider using XPCE. XPCE
provides a high level of specification, lots of support for
object-oriented graphics, interactive development and portability to
Unix/X11. A demo version is available from:

	ftp://swi.psy.uva.nl/pub/xpce/Windows/bin.

You normally donot want to create a modified version of plwin.exe, but
should you think differently, its sources are in the windows
subdirectory.
