From: Luca Bechini (bechini@IMIUCCA.CSI.UNIMI.IT)
Subject: Simulation for dairy cows
Dear list members,
I am looking for a simulation model for dairy cows.
The model should have these inputs:
. number and type of animals;
. quantity and quality of feeding rations;
. environmental conditions;
. type of building;
and these outputs:
. quantity and quality of milk produced;
. quantity and quality of slurries/manure produced.
Thank you very much for your attention,
Luca Bechini

I am searching for information about the EPIC model,
which I believe is a mathematical tool for estimating
maize yields under different conditions.
Can anyone suggest a URL ?

I'm a Ph student and I'm working on modelling the radar backscattering in
black soils. The main models I want to use are EPIC, Cloud model and EIM.
Actually I have some articles on EPIC model. I can send you the
references of them.

Thank you Charles
I am especially interested in EPIC used to model traditional,
non-mechanized farming situations. Any third-world examples would be
most helpful.
Cd you drop me a sentence about EIM

Mark
