Put the computer you run EchoLink on in the DI-624's DMZ. DOes it work now ?? IF so then there is a router problem. IF not and you are using a personal firewall, disable it and try it. Does it work now ?? Yes... the remove the computer from the router's DMZ and back behind the hardware firewall. Still working, problem is the firewall you disabled. Either it requires configuration or uninstalling ;) BTW if you have WinXP and SP2 then the MS personal firewall is also running by default. You can set it up for Echolink by going to Start--> Control Panel and there selecting Windows Firewall. Once the Windows Firewall config window opens, click on the Exceptions tab and make sure EchoLink is listed. IF not click on Add and browse to the Echolink executable (default is C:\Program Files\K1RFD\EchoLink\EchoLink.exe) and click OK to add it. Hope it helps -- Panzer Article: 52275 of rec.radio.amateur.digital.misc From: "F8BOE" References: <421b9e61$1_2@mk-nntp-2.news.uk.tiscali.com> Subject: Re: EchoLink Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2005 15:24:23 +0100 Message-ID: <421c9213$0$25802$626a14ce@news.free.fr> Hello, I've got an upgraded 714P+ that works finally, using settings as they are explained on the firewall solutions pages.
