To Bonnie Weller:

You inquiry on ecological engineering was forwarded to me. For starters,
there is a journal Ecological Engineering that is published by Elsevier. We
edit the journal here and are now beginning Volume 3. Anyone who wants
information on the journal should E-mail their name and address to me. A
society is beginning to form in Europe where members will take the journal
at a fraction of the Elsevier price. I will include information on that too
in the mailing.

Some recent publications on ecological engineering:

Eco. Eng. Vol. 1, No. 1&2 Special issue on The Role of Created and Natural
Wetlands in Controlling Nonpoint Source Pollution

Eco. Eng. Vol. 2, No. 3 Special issue on Ecological Engineering in China

Forthcoming special issues of the journal:

Eco. Eng. Vol 3, No. 1 Special issue on Forest Ecosystem Development on
Degraded and Reclaimed Sites

Eco Eng. Vol 3, No. 3 Special issue on Environmental Degradation due to
Heavy Metals and Acidifying Deposition (in Central Europe)

Eco. Eng. Vol.3, No. 4 Special issue on Creating Freshwater Marshes in a
Riparian Landscape: Research at the Des Plaines River Wetland Demonstration
Project
