I am interested in the reduction of pesticide hazards, particularly in
food. My interests include how to grow organic vegetables when you live in
a SF Bay Area apartment, how to "mainstream" organic vegetables into
Lucky's and Safeway, etc., how to support and insist that markets display
organic certification seals on food, and how to create a viable delivery
service of organic food for people who do not have the schedule or
transportation to attend various farmers' markets and carry 10 pounds of
potatoes and more on the buses, which is the main mode of transportation
for the working poor.

I am also interested in doing grassroots political education about the
hazards of pesticides, political activism regarding pesticide legislation
and the necessary global organic farmer/consumer unity that is the only
defense to such abominations as G.A.T.T. and N.A.F.T.A.

If there are any like-minded souls out there who have similar ideas, or
maybe you have a working model, please drop me a line.
