I wonder just how many people got crippled with carpal tunnel, back problems or etc' doing this? Ten gallons of water with 12oz. of round-up and a 60ft. boom at 7.5mph = 54 1/2 acre per hour. One days spraying can save a lot of man-days of labor, which mother nature seldom gives to a farmer. Storing a sprayer is easier then housing and transporting people. Also the sprayer eats less. --- * Origin: [via Psychotronic BBS = Durham, NC = 919-286-4542]HP Colo (1:3641/1) @PATH: 3641/1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (48) Thu 1 Dec 94 3:47 By: Joel B Gruver To: All Re: Romanian agriculture ---------------------------------------------------------------------- @MSGID: 1:3641/223 0006a9d9 @PID GIGO+ sn 175 at psybbs vsn 0.99 pl1 From: jbgFC@hamp.hampshire.edu (Joel B Gruver) @Subject: Romanian agriculture Date: 1 Dec 1994 03:47:41 -0000 @Sender: daemon@bigblue.oit.unc.edu @Message-Id: @Mime-Version: 1.0 @Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII I need to find out current information on agriculture in Romania. You can now telnet directly to EXNET as they have dropped their previous subscription fee. Sign in as guest. No password. If you dont' get a shout anywhere else, talk to drexner@iastate.edu, who is the ISU advisor to Practical Farmers of Iowa, a determinably sustainable organization.
