I broke my left thumb about two months ago, and it's getting worse instead of better, but that`s not important. What is important is that you and other people like you DO care, so at least in that sense I'm not alone. I have started a TRUTH campaign. I am out to expose those hypocrites who call themselves Christians for what they are. have taken such a strong defensive stance of Christs words that it seems that I want anything done, I'm going to have to follow everything he said. So, wha I am doing is heading out into the world to spread the word that we can care about each other, and that we can solve the worlds problems. I am interested in Cuba and Haiti. These are two places where there is great need for inspiration. Jesus himself said that the teachers would not be accepted in their own land. I guess that the average American would think I a crazy, however there are people who will take me seriously. Now it looks like I'm doing a north American tour with my girlfriend, but I'm not even sure of that. I'm being pulled and pushed and have no idea where I"m going to end up, but I have faith that the human race can overcome obsticals greater than greed. But anyway, continue to do the work you have been doing. Giving to the needy is one of those things which separates us from `lower' life forms. If t right wing would like to be treated as though humans are something special, wh do they act less civilized than pack animals? ... No, SUST_AG is a FidoNet echo only and is fully interactive, read-write. The Usenet newsgroup alt.sustainable.agriculture was gated into it briefly but no longer. Gating was discontinued last week. Just Fido from here on. > Also I would appriciate if you could post any other pertinant > rules also. .................><.................><................. MISSION OF SUST_AG, the FidoNet Sustainable Agriculture Echo: FIDONET: Sustainable Agriculture (Tagname: SUST_AG, Status: Backbone) homeowner-gardener/market gardener/farmer/landscaper/ herbalist/horticulturist/nurseryman/orchardist/alternative energy/environmental subjects. Moderator: Lawrence London Host system: 1:3641/1.502 Sustainable Agriculture (conference) (Tagname: SUST_AG, Status: Backbone) homeowner-gardener/market gardener/farmer/ landscaper/herbalist/horticulturist/ nurseryman/orchardist/alternative energy/ environmental subjects. SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE ECHO A Sustainable Agriculture conference is currently available as a FidoNet BackBone Echo. "Sustainable Agriculture" (TagName: SUST_AG) should provide interesting reading for anyone interested in keeping up with developments in this important field. The impact of farming, gardening, landscaping, and nursery work on the environment should be among the more often explored topics on this echo. It was begun partly in response to an expressed need for a forum for discussion of the pros and cons of existing agricultural methods. Labor intensive, raised-bed organic market gardening will be discussed in depth. Information sharing will play an important part in making the echo useful. Participation will be encouraged by gardeners (homeowners and professionals), landscapers, nurserymen and farmers, large and small. Users with a preference for organic methods and those preferring partial/complete use of chemicals are equally welcome. It is hoped that discussion and information exchange will benefit all and result in increased productivity and quality of yield for growers. Reduction of pollution and revitalization of the environment that sustains us could be considered another obvious goal. Biologically-oriented, low-input regenerative methods in agriculture will constitute the primary focus of SUST_AG. It is my hope that
