I need things simple to understand. The Hudson Institute seems to use a lot of words, many of which have little meaning to me. The definition of sustainable ag I use is: 1/ It must be profitable. No profit, no farm. 2/ There must be more topsoil in place than at the beginning of the year. If not then I must be mining the soil and I have no desire to be a miner. I use this definition to guide my decision making and actions to acheive my goal of sustainable ag. Does this fit the mold of sustainable ag? [It agrees with my definition although more could be added. TH]
