Information on the Klamath River BioRegion is available from the Internet list server "env-klamath". Internet list servers are similar to a magazine or newspaper subscription. Messages sent to the list server will be sent by private Internet e-mail to all subscribers. To subscribe to these two list servers, send a private e-mail message for each list server (use a separate message for each subscription) to: Majordomo@igc.apc.org In the message block say: subscribe env-trinity or subscribe env-klamath To unsubscribe to the list server, send a message to and say or . Both list servers are now "facilitated" to avoid the problem of sending "junk e-mail" to subscribers. The list servers are useful in obtaining up-to-date information on various activities related to restoring the Klamath and Trinity salmon and steelhead fisheries, as well as Trinity River water releases and other related activities. The instantaneous nature of electronic communications provides up to 1 week's advance notification on information that is otherwise available by regular (snail) mail. Some information made available through the env-trinity list server is not otherwise available in a timely manner, such as Trinity River instream flow releases from Lewiston Dam due to high winter storm runoff into Trinity Lake. # # # Tom Stokely (via Lily Stokely) Trinity County Planning Dept.
