Introduction to Permaculture, by Bill Mollison with Reny Mia Slay, Tagari Publicatons, ISBN 0 - 908228-08-2. It is 8 1/2 by 11 inch, 216 page paperback with great illustrations and much more concise converage (e.g., Permaculture is defined in one sentence instead of a paragraph). You get the impression that the feedback from A Designer^Òs Manual was that people were overwhelmed and underempowered (if that^Òs a word). I like it, but then I like things spelled out. DD
