Subject: COSMIC PIPES vs. CHEAT GRASS ON WESTERN RANGELANDS?

Dear Mr. Callaway,

Cheat has been identified by a few biodynamic practictioners as a weed that
begins to take over as result of a lack of available calcium. On the area's
in consideration, one must take into account the Calcium:Magnesium ratio
especially. The desired ratio is 7:1 for vegtable production and I believe
4:1 for grass production. Please note
that BOTH of these elements help determine PH. It is the internal balance of
the PH(c:mg ratio) that needs to be understood.

A good text on this should be available through Acres USA or JPI(Josephine
Porter Institute) under the title of "Weeds and What They Tell".

Sincerely,
Michael.
