The _Electronic Journal on Virtual Culture_ will have a section called "The Cyberspace Monitor" that will be issued as a supplement to the EJVC each month, starting in April 1993. The "The Cyberspace Monitor" will include information on virtual culture (VC), such as: 1. Reviews of books, software, and other media 2. Brief comments on computer systems/networks/networking tools (e.g., LISTSERV, gopher, wais, and WWW). 3. Brief comments on aspects of VC in disciplines, professions, countries (developments, news, etc.) 4. Announcements of meetings/conferences/events 5. Announcements of publications/media 6. Resources available on the networks 8. Letters to the Authors (with replies by the authors) 9. Brief comments on objects, states, conditions of VC (e.g., electronic conferences, e-journals, networked information systems/archives). Editors are needed for subsections of the "The Cyberspace Monitor" for areas such as those mentioned and other more specific aspects of VC, such as hypertext, hypermedia, SGML, OPACS, NREN, NII, Hytelnet, netfind, and multimedia, distance education, electronic conferences, and e-journals.
