Introduction

I will post this list as updates dictate, and also periodically to the
vmsnet.PDP-11 newsgroup. At any rate, it will probably be posted once every
week or so.

This list is an attempt to coalesce all net knowledge on PDP-11 UNIBUS
and Q-bus modules. It is designed to supercede all the various homespun
lists floating around -- giving one solid source of information. So, with
that in mind, don't hesitate to send me your list. Don't worry about my
getting duplicates...

To insure the growth and survival of this list, please do any of the
following that you find appropriate:

1) Send me your PDP-11 module list.
2) Make corrections to this list and send them to me.
3) Give me options for module numbers or module numbers for options
   that I don't have.
4) Feel free to clarify any items on this list.
   (Clarifications *most* welcome! For instance, what exactly is an
   M7948 "Foundation" module?)

Just make sure you send anything you have to me.
If you have relevant hardcopy and you don't feel like typing it in,
get in contact with me and we'll work something out.

(Note: as of right now, this list is in an horridly unordered state,
but that is soon to change! Also, you'll find some uVAX modules on

            KDJ11-AB    Q   High-performance, dual-height PDP-11 processor
                            with 8-Kbyte cache memory, floating-point, MMU
                            and system registers. It includes Q-bus 18- or
                            22-bit addressing, four jumper selectable powerup
                            options, and onboard diagnostics with four
                            microdiagnostic LEDs. A floating-point unit
                            instructs arithmetic, logical, and conversion
                            operations, and the MMU allows the processor to
                            operate in kernel, supervisory, or user processor
                            mode.

            KDJ11-AC    Q   Same as KDJ11-AB except the FPJ11-AA is installed
                            on the module.

            KXJ11-CA    Q   A 16-bit peripheral processor, quad-size module
                            with the J-11 processor that executes some floating-
                            point instructions and a Q-bus interface that
                            cannot arbitrate the bus. Has two DMA channels,
                            512-Kbytes of shared memory (programmably visible
                            both to the local J-11 and the Q-bus), ROM, two
                            fully programmable sync/async serial ports, one
                            aync serial console port, and a 20-bit programmable
                            parallel port.

M7676       KXT11-AB    Q   Single-board 16-bit dual-height CPU. Its features
                            include 16-Kbytes of static RAM, 64-Kbytes of
                            direct addressing capability, Q-bus interface,
                            PDP-11 base level instruction set, and 50, 60,
                            or 800Hz realtime clock. The KXT11-AB also includes
                            24-line parallel I/O, two async serial I/O ports,

M8377       KXT11-CA    Q   The KXT11-CA is a quad-height Q-bus single-board
                            computer. It features the T11 16-bit processor
                            executing the PDP-11 base level instruction set,
                            32-Kbytes of static RAM, and two 28-pin sockets
                            for up to 32-Kbytes of user ROM or static RAM. The
                            KXT11-CA also includes 20 lines of parallel I/O,
                            and three programmable SLUs - one async console
                            line, and two sync/async (one with modem control)
                            with rates up to 76.8-Kbaud. The module also
                            contains two channels of DMA, three programmable
                            interval timers, system line time clock, and onboard
                            diagnostic with LED indicators. The KXT11-CA can
                            operate as either a single-line board computer or
                            as a peripheral processor. As a peripheral
                            processor, up to 14 KXT11-CAs may be configured
                            on a single Q-bus with a host processor such as
                            the KDJ11 or KDF11. This product is fully supported
                            by MicroPower/Pascal and associated tool kits.
