CONSOLE COMMAND LANGUAGE CCL is a utility that translates a user entered command line into the appropriate RSX11M utility comand(s). In most instances the operation of CCL is essentially transparent to the user. In the case where required information is not entered as part of the command line, CCL will prompt for the required information. For example: TYPE filespec will produce a listing of the file at the user's terminal. however, TYPE will cause the prompt, "Name of file to be displayed at terminal?", to appear.
