One of the general forms of the HELP command is: HELP qualifier1 qualifier2 ... qualifier9 This displays information from the system help file (LB:[1,2]HELP.HLP) relevant to qualifier1, specialized to qualifier2 ... qualifier9. For example, the command HELP INITVOLUME OPTIONS MXF MAXIMUM will display the MAXIMUM values of the MXF OPTION of the INITVOLUME system command. The other general form of the HELP command is: HELP % qualifier1 qualifier2 ... qualifier9 This displays information from a local (private) help file (SY:[current uic]HELP.HLP). This syntax is not legal until you are logged in. In all HELP displays, the characters "<...>" bracket optional syntax. MCR commands that may be abbreviated have the shortest legal abbreviation in upper case and optional characters in lower case.
