To log onto this system, you must know an account or last name and the appropriate password. Log on by saying HELLO. The HELLO command has the following general forms: HEL[LO] You will be prompted for your name or account and password. HEL[LO] name[/password] Where name is your last name, and password is your account password. If the slash and password are left off (they are optional), you will be prompted for your password. HEL[LO] [grp,mem][/password] HEL[LO] [grp/mem][/password] Where grp and mem are the group and member numbers of your account. The square brackets and password are optional. If a comma separates grp and mem, system messages (the LOGIN.TXT file) will be displayed on your terminal immediately after you have logged in. If a slash is the separator, only the most recent messages will be displayed. After you have successfully logged in, HELLO will look for a file SY:[login uic]LOGIN.CMD and submit it to MCR if the file is found.
