AVD is used to assign a Virtual Disk. It is used as follows: AVD VDn:=filespec[/sw] VDn: virtual disk to assign filespec file to be used as virtual disk (extension defaults to .DSK) /sw switches - one of the following: /CR:n create file with "n" blocks /RX create file with 494. blocks (RX01) /DX same as /RX /RK create file with 4800. blocks (RK05) /RO allow only read access /LI list out filespec of this unit /ID report AVD program version number /PL:n create file at logical block "n" AVD will perform the specified command or print an error message.
