The default output of this command is a 3-column listing containing the full filespec, the number of blocks used by the file, the number of blocks allocated for the file, and the creation date of the file. Following this is a summary listing of the number and space requirements of all files listed. The optional filespec allows you to specify a particular subset of your directory of files. The default is *.*;*. Abbreviation: D 2 ATTRIBUTES DIRECTORY/ATTRIBUTES [filespec[s]] The /ATTRIBUTES qualifier specifies that the RMSDSP system utility program display the file attributes of the file(s). Generally, it is much better to direct the output to a file using the /OUTPUT qualifier and then to print that file with the PRINT command and the /DELETE qualifier. In this way, your output may be directed to one of a number of printers if your installation has more than one, while the /PRINTER qualifier specifically sends the output to LP0: (which will work in the vast majority of instances). 2 SUMMARY DIRECTORY/SUMMARY [filespec[s]] The /SUMMARY qualifier specifies that the only output generated be the summary line at the bottom of a normal directory listing.
